Rochard Snowy Mountain Village Train Limoges Box

A train winds through a snowy mountain village on this Rochard Limoges box, the kind of winter scene that feels like a holiday card come to life. It is hand-painted in Limoges, France, and brings the hush of fresh snow to the shelf.

All Aboard for the Alpine Village

Trains and Christmas villages have gone together for generations, from the toy layout under the tree to the holiday express that runs each December. This piece combines both, with the locomotive passing through a mountain village wrapped in snow. Rochard paints each one by hand, so the scene varies slightly from box to box.

Tracks Through the Snow

• A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Joins locomotive, sleigh and Christmas village pieces
• Fits a train, winter or holiday collection

Under the Tree and Beyond

Set it beside a model railway layout, on a mantel with greenery and candles, or on a hall table where winter guests take off their coats. It makes a perfect present for a model train hobbyist, a retired railroad worker, a skier who loves mountain towns, or a family that rides a holiday train together every year. Because the scene is about winter rather than one holiday, it can stay out from December through the last snowfall of the season.
