Hippopotamus Banker Hand-Painted Limoges Box
Serious about money and seriously funny, the hippopotamus banker is a clever little character for any office shelf. Painted by hand on a porcelain Limoges box in Limoges, France, the hippo comes from a design that has since been retired.
Heavyweight on Wall Street
A hippo in the role of a banker is a gentle joke about big balances and solid finances. The contrast between the hefty animal and the buttoned-up profession is what makes this piece so likeable.
Balance Sheet Notes
- A retired design from the Limoges wild professional line
- Suits a finance, banking or hippo collection
- Pairs with stock market bull and bear pieces
Corner Office Mascot
Give it a place on a banker's desk, an accountant's bookshelf or a home office credenza. It makes a witty present for a promotion, a retirement from a career in finance, a new MBA graduate, or a thank you to a trusted financial advisor.
A light-hearted piece for anyone who spends their days with spreadsheets and ledgers, and a welcome bit of humor during a busy tax season.
