Books with a Wine Carafe Porcelain Limoges Box
Books keep company with a wine carafe, the makings of a perfect evening by the fire. Both the books and the carafe were brushed with color by hand in Limoges, France.
Chapter and Verse, With a Pour
Few pleasures match a good novel and a glass of wine at the end of a long day. This piece captures that ritual, pairing the books with a carafe in a quiet still life that any reader will recognize.

For Readers Who Unwind
It suits a book club host, a librarian, an author celebrating a publication day, an English professor or a bookseller. Give it to a friend who just finished a long degree and finally has time to read for pleasure again. Display it on a library shelf, a nightstand or a side table beside a reading chair.
Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand after the first firing and have their metal fittings attached by hand, so each still life carries the marks of several craftspeople.
