Tropical Beach Tiki Hut Porcelain Limoges Box
A thatched tiki hut on a sunny beach brings island time to any shelf in this hand-painted porcelain Limoges box. It was made in Limoges, France, a long way from the palm trees it calls to mind.
Island Time
From Waikiki to the Caribbean, the tiki hut means the day's only plan is a cold drink and a view of the water. The thatched roof and the hut are painted by hand, so the tones and textures vary from one box to the next.
Tropical Pairings

Who Is Ready for Vacation
It is a fun souvenir of a honeymoon in Hawaii, a cruise to the islands or a destination wedding. It also makes a cheerful retirement present for someone moving somewhere warm, and a thank-you for a travel agent who planned the trip of a lifetime. Tiki bar owners and backyard luau hosts will appreciate it too.
Set it on a home bar, a sunroom shelf or a desk that needs a daily reminder of warmer days. On a gray winter morning, it is a small promise that the next beach trip is coming.
