San Francisco Bay, with its hills, water and famous skyline, is the subject of this Rochard Limoges box made in two parts. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, and it brings one of the West Coast's best-loved views indoors.

Fog Rolling Over the Bay

Few American cities are as closely tied to their waterfront as San Francisco. The two-part design gives the scene room to stretch out, so the bay reads more like a small panorama than a single picture. Rochard paints each piece by hand, so the colors and details shift slightly from one set to the next.

Cable Cars and Coastlines

  • A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
  • Joins Golden Gate, cable car and Alcatraz themed pieces
  • Leads a California or American city travel shelf

Leaving Your Heart Behind

This piece suits anyone who grew up in the Bay Area, spent a honeymoon by the water, or moved west for a new job. Set it on a home office shelf, a living room bookcase or an entry table where visitors ask about it. It is also a fitting farewell present for a coworker relocating to Northern California, or a welcome-home token for a family returning from a trip along the Pacific coast. Pair it with boxes from other American cities to build a coast to coast collection on one shelf.
