Easel with San Francisco Painting, Rochard Limoges Box

An artist's easel holds a painted view of San Francisco on this porcelain box, the canvas and stand forming the whole piece. This is a Rochard Limoges box, hand-painted in Limoges, France.

The City by the Bay on Canvas

San Francisco has inspired painters for generations, and this little easel puts a view of the city right on the canvas. The scene is painted by hand, so it carries the feel of a real work in progress set up in a studio.

A Rochard Studio Piece

Rochard is a well-known name in modern Limoges boxes, recognized for lively subjects and careful painting. Its easel designs are a favorite with collectors who like to follow city themes, since each one captures a different place on its tiny canvas.

Who Will Hang This Picture
