Koala Bear Pair Porcelain Limoges Box
Two koalas snuggle close in this sweet porcelain piece, a little family portrait from the Australian bush. It is a hand-painted Limoges box, shaped and colored by hand in Limoges, France.
Down Under, Up on the Shelf
Koalas are among the best loved animals in the world, famous for their sleepy expressions and fondness for eucalyptus. Showing two of them together gives the piece warmth, whether you read them as a parent and baby or a devoted pair. Each koala is painted individually, so expressions vary a little from box to box.

For Travelers and Animal Friends
This makes a happy souvenir of a trip to Sydney or Brisbane, a thank-you for a wildlife rescue volunteer, or a birthday present for someone who has always wanted to hold a koala. It also suits a new parent, since the pair reads naturally as mother and little one.
Display it on a bookshelf with travel guides, on a nursery dresser, or in a curio cabinet with other bears from around the world.
