Heart Limoges Box with Autumn Leaves

Autumn leaves drift across this heart in the warm colors of the season. The heart was shaped in porcelain and painted by hand in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box for fall.

Falling for Fall

Few sights say autumn like leaves turning gold, red and orange, and here they gather on a heart, mixing seasonal beauty with affection. It is a gentle way to celebrate the time of year when evenings grow cool and the trees put on their best show.

From September Through Thanksgiving

Set it on a mantel with candles and gourds, on an entry table beside a bowl of apples, or on a desk as a reminder of crisp walks in the park. It makes a warm present for an autumn wedding anniversary, a September birthday, or a Thanksgiving host. Couples who married under fall colors often keep it as a memento of the day. Every heart is painted by hand, so the leaves fall in a slightly different pattern on each one.
