Rochard Bichon Frise and Butterfly Limoges Box

A fluffy Bichon Frise has made friends with a butterfly, a sweet meeting of two of the softest things in the garden. Rochard produced this porcelain Limoges box and had it painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Cotton Clouds and Wings

Bichons are known for their powder puff coats and happy natures, and the butterfly here adds a playful note. The dog forms the box, and both dog and butterfly are painted by hand, so the pairing feels light and full of charm.

The Toy Breed Shelf

• A Rochard dog design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a toy breed, Bichon or dog lover's collection
• Pairs with poodle, Maltese and butterfly boxes

Spring on the Windowsill

Set it on a sunny windowsill, a bedroom vanity or a shelf near the garden door. It is a cheerful birthday present for a Bichon owner, a thank you for a groomer who keeps that coat snowy, or a tender memorial for a little white dog who brightened every day.

Because the butterfly also stands for change and new beginnings, some collectors choose this piece to honor a dog who has passed, letting the bright wings carry a softer meaning.
