Rochard Black Eiffel Tower Decorated with Flowers Limoges Box

The Eiffel Tower appears here in black, softened with painted flowers that give the famous landmark a spring garden feel. Rochard produced this porcelain Limoges box, and its decoration was brushed on by hand in Limoges, France.

Iron Lady in Bloom

Parisians nicknamed the tower the Iron Lady, and the black finish recalls the dark ironwork of her early years. The flowers add a romantic, feminine touch, turning the engineering marvel into something closer to a bouquet.

A Proposal Under the Tower

Many couples get engaged at the foot of the tower, and this piece makes a lovely reminder of that moment. It also suits an anniversary trip to Paris, a bride with a Paris themed shower, or a friend who decorates in black and white with touches of pink. Set it on a vanity, a nightstand or a bookshelf beside a Paris travel journal. Collectors of Eiffel Tower pieces will appreciate how the black and floral combination stands apart from gold or white versions.
