Rochard Black Labrador Retriever Limoges Box
The Labrador retriever, America's favorite breed for decades, appears here in black on a Rochard Limoges box. The porcelain dog was modeled in Limoges, France, and finished by hand.
A Retriever's Heart
Originally bred to haul fishing nets and fetch waterfowl, the Lab has become the ultimate family dog, equally at home in a duck blind or on the living room couch. Owners praise their patience, their loyalty and their boundless enthusiasm for anything involving a ball. The black coat is the classic, and Lab people will recognize that eager expression at once.

Mudroom to Mantel
Place it on a mudroom shelf near the boots and leashes, on a hunting lodge mantel or in a curio with other breeds. It makes a kind gift for a duck hunter, a dog trainer or a family whose Lab rules the house. Many owners choose it to honor a beloved dog who has passed, while others give it to welcome a new puppy. Paired with Rochard's standing black Lab, it makes a fine duo for a devoted Lab household.
