Blonde Angel on High Retired Limoges Box

A golden-haired angel watches from on high, a cherub with a gentle, heavenly presence. This is a retired design, a porcelain Limoges box hand-painted in Limoges, France.

A Cherub Among the Clouds

Angels placed on high have long stood for protection and grace, and this blonde cherub carries that tradition in a small form. The fair hair and soft painting give it a sweet, classic look that recalls old Christmas cards and church frescoes.

Retired and Worth Seeking

• A retired design, no longer in regular production
• Blonde angel, or cherub, in hand-painted porcelain
• Fits an angel, cherub or faith collection

A Watchful Presence at Home

This angel makes a tender present for a christening, a confirmation, or a family that has just lost someone dear. Collectors of angels often look for retired designs to fill out their shelves, and this one is a good find for that search. Set it on a nightstand, a prayer corner, or the top of a curio cabinet where it can look down on the room. During December it also fits nicely among nativity pieces and tree ornaments. Being painted by hand, each cherub carries its own slight differences in coloring.
