Burgundy Round Limoges Box Figurine with a Perched Dove

A dove perches on top of a round box painted in rich burgundy, a quiet symbol resting on a deep, wine dark ground. This Limoges piece is hand-painted porcelain made in Limoges, France.

Peace on a Burgundy Ground

The dove has carried messages of peace, hope and love for thousands of years, from ancient stories to modern weddings. Set against burgundy, it stands out clearly, and the warm color gives the round box a formal, elegant weight.

Gentle Messages

• Traditional hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a bird, dove or traditional round collection
• Pairs with hearts, angels, crosses and other dove pieces

For Weddings and Remembrance

A dove suits joyful days and tender ones alike. It makes a graceful wedding or anniversary present, a confirmation or first communion token, or a sympathy gesture for a family that has lost someone dear. The burgundy tone feels respectful without being somber.

Display it on a nightstand, a prayer table, a mantel or a shelf with framed family photos. Round boxes are among the oldest Limoges forms, and adding a modeled dove on top turns a classic shape into something personal. Many owners keep it near a window, where the light reminds them of the peace it stands for.
