Cat in Green Trashcan Porcelain Limoges Box

Caught red-pawed, a curious cat peeks out from a green trashcan as if the lid just popped open on its own. This porcelain figurine box was painted by hand and made in Limoges, France, with the can forming the box and the cat riding on top.

The Midnight Raid

Every cat owner knows the sound of a lid clattering in the kitchen at two in the morning. This piece turns that familiar mischief into a small porcelain scene, with the bright green can and the cat's watchful face painted in by hand, so each finished box varies slightly in tone.

For the Kitchen Windowsill

It feels right on a kitchen counter or windowsill, close to the scene of the crime. It makes a lighthearted birthday present for anyone whose cat has ever tipped over the garbage, a thank-you for a pet sitter, or a housewarming nod to a family that just adopted a kitten. Cat rescue volunteers and veterinary staff usually see the joke right away, and so will any guest who has shared a home with a feline burglar.
