Rochard Cat Perched on a Leaf Limoges Box, Ladybug and Butterfly

Perched on a leaf, a cat keeps a close eye on its neighbors, a ladybug and a butterfly, in this little garden scene from Rochard. The porcelain figurine box was shaped and hand-painted in Limoges, France.

Watching the Garden Guests

Every cat owner knows that look: total focus on something small that moves. Here the cat has found two garden visitors at once, and the ladybug and butterfly seem blissfully unaware. The leaf gives the whole piece a fresh, springtime feeling that suits a sunroom or garden room perfectly.

Sunny Windowsill Company

Set it on a windowsill shelf where real birds and butterflies drift past, on a potting bench, or on a desk where it can brighten a long afternoon. It makes a charming present for a cat owner who gardens, a spring birthday for a nature fan, or a friend who just planted a pollinator bed. Cat collectors and garden collectors alike will want it, since it belongs comfortably in both groups.
