Jack O Lantern Pumpkin Halloween Limoges Box

A grinning jack o lantern lights up Halloween in porcelain, ready for trick or treat night. This pumpkin is a Limoges box, painted by hand by Limoges artisans in France.

Carved for All Hallows Eve

The jack o lantern has been the face of Halloween for generations, glowing on porches from small towns to big cities. Here the pumpkin forms the box, and its carved face is painted by hand, so every grin turns out a little different.

Porch Light Not Required

Set it on a mantel with autumn leaves, a hall table by the candy bowl, or a kitchen windowsill through October. It makes a fun hostess thank you at a costume party, a birthday present for anyone born near Halloween, or a treat for the friend who decorates first every fall.

The October Shelf

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a Halloween, autumn or pumpkin collection
• Pairs with gourd, corn, black cat and witch hat boxes

Many Limoges boxes are hand-painted after the white porcelain has been fired, and their metal mounts are fitted by hand. That care shows even on a playful subject like a pumpkin, which can come out year after year with the fall decorations.
