Standing Orange Birdhouse Limoges Box
A bright orange birdhouse stands on its post in this porcelain box, a cheerful backyard sight brought indoors. It was painted by hand in Limoges, France, and it is a decorative Limoges box rather than a real birdhouse.
Vacancy for Songbirds
Birdhouses on poles are a familiar part of gardens and country lanes, and the orange color here gives this one a sunny, welcoming look. The stand lifts the house up as if it were waiting for the first wren of spring. Each box is painted by hand, so the tones vary slightly.

For Feeder Watchers
This suits anyone who keeps binoculars by the kitchen window, a member of the local garden club, or a friend who just planted a new flower bed. It also makes a sweet housewarming present for a home with a yard, or a spring birthday surprise.
Place it on a windowsill that looks out over the garden, on a potting bench shelf, or in a sunroom among houseplants. Garden collectors often build a small village of birdhouses in different colors, and this orange one is easy to spot in any lineup.
