Pink Flower with Bee Porcelain Limoges Box

A bee pays a visit to a pink flower, a small garden moment caught in porcelain. This springtime piece is a Limoges box, with its petals and bee painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Busy as a Bee

Bees and blossoms belong together, and this box pairs them in one cheerful scene. The pink flower forms the box, and the bee adds a lively touch, with every petal and stripe applied with a brush.

Pollinator Garden Shelf

Set it on a sunroom table, a kitchen windowsill or a shelf near the garden door. It makes a sweet present for a beekeeper, a gardener, a nurse or teacher who works as hard as a bee, or a friend celebrating a spring birthday.

Blossoms and Bees

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a flower, garden or insect collection
• Pairs with ladybug, butterfly and birdhouse boxes

Bees have long stood for hard work and community, and in France the bee was a symbol chosen by Napoleon himself. A bee on a pink bloom carries that history lightly, as a happy sign of spring.
