Beige Cottage with Red Roof Limoges Box

A beige cottage topped with a red roof looks like the kind of house you would hope to find at the end of a winding country lane. Built in porcelain and painted by hand in Limoges, France, this little house is a Limoges box.

Home at the End of the Lane

Cottages stand for comfort, family and a place to come home to. The warm beige walls and bright red roof give this one a welcoming look, as if a fire were already lit inside. It is a simple, heartfelt subject that says home in any language.

Keys to a New Chapter

Set it on an entry table, a mantel among other house boxes, or a bookshelf beside family photos. It makes a fitting housewarming present, a closing gift from a realtor to new owners, or a sweet memento for someone who just moved into their first home. A spare key or a tiny note of welcome can be tucked inside.
