Cupid Cherub with Lyre and Love Song Book Limoges Box
A little Cupid cherub holds a lyre beside a book of love lyrics, as if about to sing a serenade for someone special. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France gathers angel, music and romance in one piece.
Songs From the Clouds
Cherubs have filled the ceilings of French palaces and Renaissance paintings for centuries, often shown with musical instruments in hand. The lyre, the ancient instrument of poets, gives this little angel a classical air, while the book of love songs ties him firmly to Cupid's mission.

Love Notes and Lullabies
This is a romantic present for Valentine's Day, an anniversary or a wedding, especially for a couple who share a love of music. It also makes a thoughtful thank you for a church musician, a harpist or a choir director. Place it on a piano, a bedroom dresser or a shelf of angel figures.
Collectors of cherubs and angels often seek out pieces with instruments, since they bring both spiritual and musical charm. This Cupid with his lyre fits that tradition gracefully.
