Standing Chocolate Labrador Limoges Box by Rochard

Four paws planted and ears relaxed, a chocolate Labrador stands at attention as if waiting for the back door to open. This Rochard figurine box captures the breed in porcelain, hand-painted and made in Limoges, France.

Rich Brown Retriever Charm

The chocolate coat is the star here, carried across the whole body of the dog so the figure reads as a Lab at a glance. The dog itself forms the box, which keeps the outline clean and natural on a shelf. Rochard pieces are finished by hand, so the shading on one Lab will never match another exactly.

Who Will Want This Lab

• A Rochard figurine box painted by hand in Limoges, France
• Made for owners of chocolate Labs and retriever fans alike
• Pairs well with other sporting breed and hunting dog pieces

Sit, Stay, Display

A study bookcase, a mudroom shelf or the desk where the leash hangs nearby are all natural homes for this one. It is a fitting way to welcome a new Lab puppy, to thank a dog trainer, or to remember a faithful companion who spent years at someone's feet. Duck hunters, retriever field trial fans and anyone who has ever owned a chocolate Lab will spot the breed from across the room, and most of them will want to tell you about their own dog.
