Rochard Christmas Candy Cane Limoges Box

Holiday sweets and a candy cane make this Rochard box look as if it came straight off a Christmas tree. The porcelain was hand-painted in Limoges, France, and it brings back the sugary side of the season.

Sugarplum Season

The candy cane has been part of Christmas for generations, hung on branches, tucked into stockings and stirred into cocoa. Rochard brings it together with other seasonal candy in a box that captures the sweet side of December. Every detail is painted by hand, so each finished piece has small variations.

Sweet Spots for December

Set it on the mantel beside the stockings, on a side table near the tree, or on a dessert buffet next to the cookie platter. It makes a fun little present for a coworker in a holiday swap, a teacher at the winter break, or a neighbor who always brings fudge. Many families pack it away with the ornaments and bring it back out each year, so it becomes part of the season. Collectors who build a Christmas shelf tend to want at least one candy piece, and this one fits that role neatly.
