Rochard Christmas Mouse on Matchbox Limoges Box
A little Christmas mouse perches on a matchbox in this Rochard Limoges box, a cozy holiday vignette straight out of a storybook. It is a Rochard piece, hand-painted in Limoges, France, full of festive charm.
Not a Creature Was Stirring
The famous holiday poem tells us not even a mouse was stirring on Christmas Eve, but this one seems to be keeping watch for Santa from its matchbox perch. The pairing brings to mind candlelit windows, hearths and the quiet magic of a winter night. It is small, sweet and full of personality.

Tucked in for the Season
Set it on a mantel beside the stockings, on a windowsill next to a candle, or among the branches of a tabletop tree. It makes a charming present for someone who collects mice, a friend who reads the Christmas poem aloud every year, or a hostess at a holiday open house. Once the season ends, it is easy to tuck away and bring back out next December.
