Christmas Tree with Magnolias Porcelain Limoges Box

A Christmas tree trimmed with magnolia blossoms brings a Southern garden look to the holidays. This blooming evergreen is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box from Limoges, France.

Magnolias at Christmas

In the American South, magnolia leaves and blooms have long been part of holiday garlands and mantel arrangements. This tree borrows that tradition, with the flowers painted among the green boughs in place of the usual glass balls.

Southern Holiday Lineup

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a Christmas, Southern or floral grouping
• Pairs with the gold star tree and Nativity pieces

For Steel Magnolias

It suits a Southern hostess, a garden club president, a florist or anyone who has moved away from the South and misses magnolia season. It also makes a lovely thank-you for a friend who hosts the neighborhood Christmas party every year.

Mantel and Sideboard

Place it on a holiday sideboard among real magnolia leaves, on a mantel garland or on a front hall table. Its floral look also lets it stay out a little longer than the usual Christmas pieces.
