Rochard Cocker Spaniel Dog Porcelain Limoges Box

A Cocker Spaniel, all soft ears and gentle expression, is ready to charm in porcelain. This hand-painted Rochard Limoges box was made in Limoges, France.

Ears Like Velvet

Cockers are famous for their long, silky ears and their sweet nature, and this box celebrates both. The spaniel itself forms the box, with its coat and features painted by hand so each dog carries its own personality.

A Friend at the Fireside

Set it on a mantel, a reading table or a bedside shelf where a dog would curl up. It makes a heartfelt present for a Cocker owner's birthday, a thank you for a vet or groomer, or a tender remembrance for someone missing a spaniel who was part of the family for years.

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain fired at very high heat, then painted once the white body has cooled. On a dog box like this one, that gives the painter a clean, smooth surface to bring out the curls and color of the coat.
