Rochard Limoges Coffee Maker Box Figurine, Removable R Cup

Morning starts here: a little coffee maker in porcelain, with a removable cup marked R waiting for the first pour. The brewer is a Rochard Limoges box, its colors laid on with a brush in Limoges, France.

The First Cup of the Day

Coffee people have their rituals, from the grind to the drip to that first quiet sip. Rochard captured the machine at the center of it all, and the lift-off cup turns a kitchen appliance into a playful little sculpture. The little R on the cup adds a personal mark to the design.

Brewed in Limoges

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat, which gives it a bright white body that takes paint beautifully. Many boxes are decorated by hand after that first firing, which is how this coffee maker got its color.

Fresh Pot Pairings

• A Rochard design with a removable R cup
• Joins coffee, café and kitchen-themed groupings
• Pairs with teapot, espresso and pastry pieces

Fuel for the Office

Set it beside the real machine on a kitchen counter, on a coffee bar shelf, or on a desk where the mug never seems to be empty. It makes a fun thank-you for a barista, a birthday surprise for a café owner, or a retirement present for the colleague who always started the office pot before anyone else arrived.
