Colorful Flowers Tent Bottle Shaped Limoges Box

Colorful flowers bloom all over this tent bottle shaped box, a cheerful bouquet on an unusual form. It is a porcelain Limoges box with its florals painted by hand in Limoges, France.

A Bottle Full of Blooms

The tent bottle shape gives the flowers a graceful, unusual canvas. Many colors mingle across it like a cottage garden in full summer, each blossom applied with a brush, so no two bottles look quite the same.

Bright Spots for the Home

Set it on a vanity among perfume bottles, on a bathroom shelf, or on a sunny windowsill where the colors will pop. It makes a happy present for a gardener, a florist, a summer birthday, or a friend who loves color in every room.

The Shaped Box Shelf

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a floral, shaped box or bottle collection
• Pairs with perfume bottle, pink floral and flower with bee boxes

Small porcelain boxes were the fashion in 18th-century France for holding snuff, pills and beauty patches. Bottle shapes like this one recall the scent flasks of that same era, painted here in a bright, modern mix of colors.
