Computer Bug Beetle Porcelain Limoges Box

The original computer bug was a real moth found in a machine, and this porcelain beetle turns that bit of tech history into a playful figurine box. It carries a computer chip and a Y2K theme, and it is hand-painted Limoges porcelain made in Limoges, France.

Debugging the Millennium

As 1999 turned to 2000, programmers everywhere worked late to squash the Y2K bug. This beetle with its chip is a wink at that moment, when everyone waited to see whether the clocks would roll over. It makes a lighthearted souvenir of a very real chapter in computing.

Gifts for Coders

Software engineers, IT managers, and help desk heroes will get the joke right away. It suits a retirement after a long career in programming, a promotion to lead developer, or a thank you to the person who fixes everyone's computer. Set it beside a monitor, on a server room shelf, or in a home office bookcase where fellow techies can spot it.
