Rochard Cougar and Cub Porcelain Limoges Box

A mother cougar with her young cub makes a tender wildlife scene on this Rochard Limoges box. Hand-painted in Limoges, France, it shows the gentle side of one of North America's most powerful cats.

Mountain Lion Family

Also called mountain lions or pumas, cougars roam from the Canadian Rockies to the tip of South America. They are solitary hunters, but a mother stays close to her cubs for well over a year. Rochard captures that bond here, turning a wild subject into a picture of devotion.

From Cabin to Classroom

Set it on a mantel in a mountain cabin, a study bookshelf or a wildlife display. It makes a meaningful present for a new mother, a wildlife biologist, a park ranger, a hiker who has spotted a cougar track, or a fan of a team with a cougar mascot. It also suits Mother's Day for anyone who loves the wild.

Rochard's wild animal series is well loved among collectors, and a mother and cub pairing adds an emotional touch to a wildlife shelf.
