Small Mouse Tucked in Bed Limoges Box
A small mouse lies tucked under the covers of a tiny bed on this porcelain box, ready to drift off for the night. The whole scene was painted by hand in Limoges, France, on a true Limoges box.
Lights Out, Little One
Bedtime scenes have a gentle storybook quality, and a mouse in a snug bed is one of the sweetest. The bed itself is detailed like doll house furniture, and the tiny sleeper inside gives the whole piece a cozy, quiet mood.
Nesting Among Friends
- Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
- Joins cheese, mouse hole and cat pieces in a mouse themed grouping
- Fits a bedroom, doll house or furniture collection
Sweet Dreams on the Nightstand
Place it on a nightstand, a guest room dresser, or a shelf near a reading chair, where a sleeping mouse feels right at home. It makes a gentle present for a new grandmother, a friend recovering at home, or someone who has collected mice for years. It also suits a retiree finally catching up on sleep.
Mouse collectors are a devoted group, and scenes with furniture or bedding tend to be favorites because they tell a little story. Since the piece is painted by hand, the colors on the bedding vary slightly from box to box.
