Sheep Dog with Ball Hand-Painted Limoges Box

A sheep dog waits with a ball, ready for the next game of fetch, full of that playful herding dog energy. The pup was painted by hand on porcelain in Limoges, France, as a Limoges box.

One More Throw

Sheep dogs are natural workers, but they also love to play, and a ball is the fastest way to their heart. This piece captures that eager moment before the throw, when the whole world narrows down to the ball.

Herding Heart, Playful Spirit

• Sheep dog with a ball

For the Dog Who Never Tires

This is a fun present for a sheepdog owner, a dog trainer, a farm family, or a friend who just adopted a high energy pup. It also makes a sweet memorial for a beloved dog who never stopped asking for one more throw. Set it on a desk beside a pet photo, on a mantel near the leash hook, or among other dog pieces on a shelf. Each dog is painted by hand, so the coat shading varies slightly from piece to piece.
