Rochard Mother Dolphin and Calf Limoges Box

A mother dolphin glides through the waves with her calf at her side, close enough to touch. That ocean moment is a Rochard Limoges box, sculpted in porcelain and finished by hand in Limoges, France.

Swimming Side by Side

Mother and calf are modeled together as a single form, the way dolphin pairs travel in the open sea. Dolphins are known for their intelligence and strong family bonds, and young ones stay with their mothers for years. Rochard's ocean line is full of sea creatures, and this pair brings a tender, protective note to it.

Seaside Shelf

• A Rochard ocean piece, painted by hand in Limoges
• Fits a dolphin, marine life or beach house collection
• Pairs with whale, sea turtle and seashell pieces

Gifts From the Sea

Give it to a new mother, a marine biologist, a scuba diver, or a family that returns to the same beach every summer. It also makes a sweet Mother's Day present for someone who loves the ocean. Set it on a beach house mantel among driftwood and shells, on a bathroom shelf with coastal accents, or on a desk where it can bring a little calm to a busy day.
