Rochard Double Heart Love Message Limoges Box
Two hearts side by side carry a sweet message of devotion, I Love You and Only Yours, the kind of words people whisper rather than shout. Rochard made this porcelain Limoges box, painted by hand in Limoges, France.
Two Hearts, One Promise
A pair of hearts has always stood for two people choosing each other, and the message on this piece spells out what the shape already suggests. Rochard keeps the design simple and heartfelt, letting the words do the talking.
Sweetheart Shelf Mates
- A Rochard piece, hand-painted in Limoges, France
- Joins love letter, rose and wedding ring subjects
- Fits a heart, romance or Valentine collection
Saying It Without Saying It
Slip it onto a nightstand on Valentine's morning, tuck it beside the coffee on an anniversary, or leave it on a vanity as a surprise after a long trip apart. It suits newlyweds, a couple renewing their vows, or partners celebrating forty years together. A double heart also makes a tender present for a pair of best friends or a pair of sisters who share a special bond.
Finished by Many Hands
Limoges is famous for hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high heat until it turns white and glassy. Each box then goes back to the painters, who add color and lettering by hand before it is ready for a collector's shelf.
