Rochard Easel with Girl and Seashore Limoges Box Figurine
An artist's easel holds a painting of a girl at the seashore on this Rochard Limoges box, as if the canvas were drying in the summer air. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, a painting within a painting in porcelain.
Plein Air by the Sea
The Impressionists carried their easels out of the studio and onto the beaches of Normandy, painting sunlight, sand and figures by the water. This box nods to that tradition, with a seaside scene set on its own little easel.

Gallery of One
Display it on a studio shelf, a bookcase beside art books, or a beach house mantel. It makes a lovely present for a painter, an art teacher, a museum docent, or someone who spent summers at the shore as a girl. It also marks an art school graduation or a first gallery show nicely.
Rochard's fine art boxes are popular with painters and gallery regulars alike, and this seaside easel brings a breath of summer to the collection.
