White Rectangle Limoges Box with Green Leaves

Green leaves are painted across a white rectangle on this porcelain box, a clean botanical design that feels like a page from a naturalist's sketchbook. It is a Limoges box from Limoges, France, painted entirely by hand.

A Botanist's Notebook

Leaves alone, without flowers, give this piece a calm and modern feel. Against white porcelain, the greens look crisp and fresh, like ferns pressed between the pages of a book. The rectangular shape gives the leaves a neat frame and a generous lid to stretch across.

Green Room Companions

This box suits a botanical, garden or greenery-themed shelf, and it pairs naturally with the light green oval floral box. It also works well among white porcelain, where its green note stands out without overwhelming the display.

For Green Thumbs

It is a natural present for a gardener, a houseplant enthusiast, a botany student or a landscape designer. It also marks a new home with a garden, a retirement spent among the roses, or an Earth Day birthday. Place it among potted herbs on a kitchen sill or on a study shelf beside botanical prints.
