Rochard Espresso Machine Porcelain Limoges Box Figurine

The hiss of steam, the smell of fresh grounds and a tiny cup filling with crema: this porcelain espresso machine brings all of that to mind without a single bean. Rochard made it as a Limoges box, hand-painted in Limoges, France.

Pulling the Perfect Shot

For a lot of people the day does not really start until the espresso machine warms up. This Rochard piece honors that morning ritual in miniature, with the familiar shape of a cafe machine rendered in porcelain and painted by hand. It is a playful subject handled with real care.

• Adds a coffee house note to a kitchen or breakfast collection

Morning Routine Moments

Put it on the shelf above the real coffee maker, on an office desk next to the mug, or in a breakfast nook. It makes a fun thank-you for a favorite barista, a coworker who keeps the office coffee going, or a friend who just opened a cafe. Newlyweds who registered for their first espresso machine will get the joke right away.

Fired Before It Was Painted

Many Limoges boxes are painted by hand only after the white porcelain has been fired, and their metal mounts are then fitted by hand as well.
