Pink Flamingo Porcelain Limoges Box

A pink flamingo stands tall and proud, wearing the bright plumage that makes the bird famous. This hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, made in Limoges, France, brings a splash of tropical color to any shelf.

Pretty in Tropical Pink

Flamingos owe their famous pink to their diet, and they have become a symbol of warm beaches and lazy afternoons. The pink here is brushed on by hand, giving the feathers soft variations in tone from one bird to another.

Beach House Shelf Mates

Set it on a sunroom windowsill, a beach house mantel or a bathroom vanity with seashells and coral. It also looks right among palm tree, pelican, seashell and parrot pieces, forming a little tropical scene even in the middle of winter.

A Sunny Present

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• A fun memento of a Florida or Caribbean vacation
• Belongs in a bird, beach or tropical themed collection

It makes a cheerful thank-you for a friend who hosted a beach weekend, or a birthday present for anyone who has ever put a plastic flamingo on the lawn. Bird watchers who have seen a flock in the wild will appreciate the elegant stance.
