Garden Fountain with Birds Porcelain Limoges Box

Small birds have gathered on the rim of a garden fountain, stopping for a drink and a splash on a warm afternoon. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box, with the birds and fountain painted by hand in Limoges, France.

Splash in the Garden

A fountain is the heart of many French gardens, and birds always find it first. This scene captures that calm backyard moment, the soft sound of water and the flutter of wings, in a piece that brings a little garden indoors.

For Gardeners and Birdwatchers

It is a thoughtful present for a gardener, a backyard birdwatcher, or a friend who just built a patio fountain. Set it on a sunroom table, a garden window ledge, or a potting bench shelf. Mother's Day and spring birthdays suit it beautifully.

A peaceful little scene for anyone who keeps a feeder full and a birdbath clean, and who counts the first robin of spring as a holiday.
