Fruit Still Life Paint Palette Porcelain Limoges Box

An artist's palette carries a fruit still life on this porcelain box, mixing the painter's tool with the painter's favorite subject. It is a hand-painted porcelain Limoges box figurine made in Limoges, France, with a fruit motif that adds warmth to a classic art theme.

Still Life on the Palette

Bowls of fruit have been the practice ground for painters for centuries, from old masters to beginners in evening classes. This piece puts that tradition right on the palette itself. It is a clever idea that artists and gallery goers tend to admire for its double meaning.

Brushstrokes and Fruit Bowls

• Painted by hand on Limoges porcelain
• Fits an artist, fruit or studio collection
• Complements the plain palette and the paint tube boxes

For the Painting Class

Set it on a studio shelf, an easel ledge or a kitchen windowsill beside a real fruit bowl. It is a thoughtful present for a painting class teacher, a still life painter, a museum docent or a student finishing a first art course. Paired with the fruit boxes in this shop, it makes a playful bridge between the kitchen and the studio.
