Garden Bench with Hat Limoges Box

A garden bench waits in the shade with a hat resting on its seat, as if its owner just stepped away to tend the roses. This Limoges box was shaped in porcelain and painted by hand in Limoges, France.

A Seat Among the Flowers

The garden bench is where the work stops and the enjoying begins. With the hat left behind, this scene captures that pause in the afternoon, a little story of a gardener taking a break or a summer visitor coming back soon.

For the Green Thumb

This is a thoughtful present for a gardener, a garden club member, or someone who just moved into a home with a backyard to call their own. It also makes a gentle remembrance for someone who loved spending time in the garden. Set it on a windowsill overlooking the yard, on a potting bench shelf, or among floral pieces in a sunroom. Because every bench is painted by hand, small differences in color and line give each piece its own character.
