Green and Gold Leaf Pattern Egg Limoges Box
Green and gold leaves wind around this egg shaped porcelain box, giving it a rich botanical pattern. It is a hand-painted Limoges box made in Limoges, France, with gold accents that lift the green and catch the light.
A Garden Wrapped in Gold
Leaves are a quieter subject than flowers, but they give this egg a calm, natural feel. The touches of gold keep it from looking plain and make it ready for a formal table.
Nested Among Its Kind
- Painted by hand on French porcelain in Limoges
- Suits an egg, Easter or leaf and botanical collection
- Looks handsome beside floral and striped eggs in a glass bowl
Green Thumb Gifting
A gardener with a spring birthday, a friend who keeps a conservatory full of plants, or anyone celebrating St. Patrick's Day would enjoy it. It also works nicely as part of an Easter table with fresh greenery.
Because green and gold do not belong to one season, this egg can stay out long after spring, sitting on a kitchen shelf near potted herbs or in a china cabinet with green glassware.
