Rochard Golden Retriever on a Blue Pillow Limoges Box

A golden retriever rests on a blue pillow, looking every bit the household favorite who knows exactly where the best cushion is. Rochard made this porcelain Limoges box, hand-painted in Limoges, France; some owners see a blond Labrador in it too.

The Best Seat in the House

Golden retrievers and Labs share that easygoing, devoted nature that makes them some of the most loved family dogs anywhere. The blue pillow sets off the warm coat nicely, and every part of the scene was painted by hand.

Fetching Places

Put it on a nightstand, a desk in a home office where the real dog naps under the chair, or a mantel beside a framed photo of a favorite pup. It also fits a vet's front desk or a groomer's shop counter.

Good Dog Occasions

• A Rochard design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Pairs with dog bowl, leash and tennis ball subjects
• Fits a retriever, Labrador or sporting dog collection

This is a wonderful present for someone bringing home a new puppy, for a guide dog or therapy dog volunteer, or as a gentle remembrance after the loss of a loyal companion. Retriever owners tend to collect anything that looks like their dog, and this one fits right in with that habit. Hunters who work with a retriever in the field will find it a fond reminder of early mornings in the duck blind.
