Porcelain Golf Ball Limoges Box, Green and Hole Flag Painted Inside

On the outside it is a golf ball, but open it up and a painted green appears, complete with its hole and flag. This clever piece is a Limoges box formed in Limoges, France, with the scene inside brushed on by hand.

A Green Inside the Ball

Many golfers say the putting green is where the game is won or lost, and this design puts that patch of short grass right inside the ball. The contrast between the plain outside and the colorful scene inside makes opening it part of the fun.

Moments on the Course

Give it to a golfer after a memorable round, a winner of the club putting contest, or a new member who just joined the course. It also suits a Father's Day morning, a retirement send-off, or a birthday on the eve of a golf trip. Keep it on an office desk where colleagues can peek inside, on a trophy shelf with scorecards, or in a den with a putting mat on the floor.
