Green Chair Porcelain Limoges Box Figurine

A miniature green chair invites you to imagine a cozy reading corner, scaled down to fit on a shelf. Shaped in porcelain and painted by hand in Limoges, France, it brings a room's worth of comfort to one small seat.

Pull Up a Seat

Miniature furniture has a devoted following among Limoges collectors, and chairs are a favorite because each one suggests a whole room around it. The green finish here gives the piece a fresh, garden-room feel, the kind of chair you might find on a sun porch or beside a window. Green also sits easily with both country and classic rooms, so it blends into most displays.

Housewarmings and Decorators

Give it to someone who has just moved into a new home, an interior designer with an eye for small details, or a friend who reupholsters flea market finds. Set on a side table or bookshelf, it starts conversations about where the rest of the room is hiding. A cat or teddy bear figure placed on its seat makes an easy little vignette.
