Rochard Vanilla Birthday Cake Porcelain Limoges Box

A vanilla birthday cake, ready for candles and a chorus of Happy Birthday, is the subject of this festive porcelain box. Rochard made it in Limoges, France, and painted every layer by hand.

Make a Wish

The birthday cake has been the center of the celebration since bakers in 18th-century Germany started topping cakes with candles. Rochard brings that sweet tradition to a small piece in creamy vanilla tones. The icing and decoration are brushed by hand, so each cake has its own slight variations.

Party Table Pairings

• A Rochard birthday design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a birthday, baking or celebration grouping
• Pairs well with present, balloon and party hat boxes

Candles and Celebrations

Set it beside the real cake at the party, then let it live on a dresser, a kitchen shelf or a curio cabinet. It makes a cheerful present for any birthday from the twenty-first to the hundredth, a baker who loves to make layer cakes, or a coworker celebrating at the office. Because it has no number, it can come out again every year.
