50th Birthday Heart Limoges Box by Rochard

Turning fifty calls for a heart, and this Rochard box carries a Happy Birthday wish for the big five-oh. The heart is porcelain, painted by hand in the Rochard workshop in Limoges, France.

Fabulous at Fifty

A 50th birthday is a halfway marker worth celebrating, a time to look back with pride and ahead with curiosity. Rochard gave the occasion a heart shaped box with a birthday greeting for the year. The lettering and colors are painted by hand, so each one has its own slight differences.

Half Century Highlights

• A Rochard birthday design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a birthday, milestone or heart themed grouping
• Pairs well with cake, champagne and balloon boxes

Fired at Great Heat

Limoges porcelain is hard-paste porcelain, fired at very high temperatures, which is why a little heart like this can last for decades on a dresser. Give it at the party in place of a card, slip it beside the cake, or send it to a sister, brother or best friend who lives far away. It also makes a fine keepsake for a coworker celebrating the milestone at the office, set on the desk as a reminder of the day.
