Rochard Uphill Bicycles Cycling Limoges Box

Bicycles straining up a steep hill capture the grit and glory of a hard climb in this sporting porcelain box. Rochard made it in Limoges, France, and painted the scene by hand.

King of the Mountains

In cycling, the climbs are where races are won and legends are made, from the switchbacks of the Alps to the Pyrenees in the Tour de France. Rochard captures that uphill effort in a small piece, brushed by hand so every set of bicycles shows its own slight differences.

Peloton Pairings

• A Rochard cycling design, hand-painted in Limoges, France
• Fits a cycling, bike race or sports grouping
• Pairs well with Eiffel Tower, map of France and sports trophy boxes

A Ride Worth Remembering

Set it on a garage workbench shelf, an office desk, or a den bookcase beside race medals and photos. It makes a fine present for a cyclist finishing a first century ride, a member of the weekend club, a coach, or a fan who never misses a stage of the Tour. It also marks a charity ride or a bucket list trip pedaling through the French countryside, and it reminds every rider that the view from the top is worth the climb.
