Ghost with Jack O Lantern Head Limoges Box

A ghost has traded its usual sheet-white face for a grinning jack o lantern head, giving trick-or-treaters a double dose of Halloween. The spooky fellow is hand-painted porcelain, made as a Limoges box in Limoges, France.

Boo Meets the Pumpkin Patch

Ghosts and carved pumpkins are the two great icons of October, and this piece combines them into one character. The jack o lantern head gives the ghost a goofy, friendly look rather than a frightening one. It is the kind of Halloween piece that makes visitors laugh before they shiver.

Haunted Mantel Lineup

• Hand-painted porcelain from Limoges, France
• Fits a Halloween, fall or ghost collection
• Pairs with black cat, witch hat and candy corn pieces

Spooky Season Placement

Set it on the mantel among faux cobwebs, on an entry table beside a bowl of candy, or in a curio dedicated to October. It is a fun present for a Halloween party host, a friend whose birthday falls near the thirty-first, or a neighbor famous for the best decorated porch on the block. After November arrives, it can rest until next fall's haunting.
