New Orleans Jazz Man Lamp Figurine Limoges Box
A New Orleans jazz man raises his trumpet, ready to send a bright note down Bourbon Street. This musician is a hand-painted porcelain figurine box made in Limoges, France, a decorative piece rather than a working lamp.
When the Saints Go Marching In
New Orleans gave the world jazz, and the trumpet players of the French Quarter are part of its legend. This figure captures that spirit, from the brass horn to the easy confidence of a player who has worked every club on Frenchmen Street.
For the Second Line
It makes a lively present for a jazz fan, a trumpet player, a band director or a friend who just got back from Mardi Gras or Jazz Fest. It also suits a music teacher's retirement or anyone who grew up in Louisiana and misses the sound of a brass band.
