Large Open Blue Flower Limoges Box with Bee

A bee has come to visit a large, open blue flower in this porcelain Limoges box, a small garden moment captured in full bloom. It was hand-painted in Limoges, France, as a nature piece that celebrates pollinators and petals alike.

The Bee and the Blossom

Bees and flowers depend on one another, and gardeners know a busy bee means a healthy garden. A bee paired with an open bloom sums up the whole hum and buzz of a summer afternoon.

Buzzing in the Garden

• A large open flower and bee, each detail brushed by hand in Limoges
• Fits a bee, garden flower or nature collection
• Pairs well with the Empire bee boxes and blue floral pieces

For Beekeepers and Gardeners

Give it to a beekeeper, a pollinator garden enthusiast, or a friend whose honey is the talk of the farmers market. It also makes a sweet present for a new home, since bees stand for hard work and community. Set it on a kitchen windowsill, a sunroom shelf or beside a honey jar on the breakfast table. Its large blue bloom brings a cheerful splash of color to a floral collection.
